Unemployment remains a significant challenge in our Society, leaving many youths struggling to secure sustainable jobs. To address this, Simply Exponential Vocational Training Center (Simply Expo VTC) has been involved in training unemployed youth, aimed at equipping young people with in-demand digital and sales skills.
We officially commenced the program with an onboarding session introducing participants to the curriculum and expectations. In the first and second weeks, trainees covered essential topics such as Financial Literacy, Principles of Leadership, Report Writing, File Storage and Organization, Hardware and Software, Digital Technology, Basics of Microsoft Word/Excel, Graphic Design, Creating Graphics with Canva, and Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation.
To foster engagement and collaboration, trainees were divided into groups named Banana, Orange, Carica Papaya, Pineapple, and Watermelon. So far, the feedback from participants has been highly positive, with many expressing excitement about the knowledge gained and the hands-on learning experience.
